A Welcome from the Executive Director
Hessa
bint Khalifa Al-Khalifa
It has been a great experience to set up an international non-profit
organisation. inJAz Bahrain is a venue dedicated to bringing
the Kingdom of Bahrain into the global arena of economic and
social development.
We established this organisation in January 2005 with a clear
vision and professional support from our various benefactors:
the board members who took the responsibility to join the board
and become founding members; the Ministry of Education with whose
support we have been able to reach many young Bahrainis; all
the corporations and individuals who have extended both financial
contribution and professional expertise; the volunteers who have
given their time to contribute to community development; and
finally, the society at large who has embraced inJAz Bahrain
wholeheartedly.
At inJAz Bahrain, infusing entrepreneurial thinking in the hearts
and minds of young people is our core mission. A young person
can be easily inspired if he/she is provided with the right environment
and motivation for success. It is within every one of us to strive
for success; however, the foundation for success relies on three
strong pillars of support: motivation, encouragement and inspiration.
inJAz Bahrain was founded with this vision, and since its inception
in January 2005, it has reached out to more and more students
every year with the help of volunteers from the local business
community.
Setting up this organisation has been challenging and rewarding.
The students, the volunteers and the teachers all exude positive
feelings that enable inJAz Bahrain to stride ahead as a beacon
of hope and development for the youth of the country.
Our success in the workplace is certainly the inspiration of
the future generation.
